The location proved advantageous as it sat near the tube and bus lines. Kensington gardens were directly across the street, wonderful for strolling. I found this quite charmed.
The room seemed a bit unclean upon closer inspection. There was a coffee machine, but it lacked coffee. I found this quite disappointing.

I appreciated the quiet atmosphere , despite a neighbor's occasional loud hallway conversations! the staff honored my request for a high floor room away from the elevator. I drank coffee and enjoyed a roll a couple mornings using my offer for declining room cleaning. the towels were fluffy and new, and bottled water was in the room, a nice plus.
I found a broken internal sliding window propped against the windows when i walked into the room. This discovery was quite unsettling. the safe was also unusable because of corroded batteries damaging its mechanism. the lights stopped working later, which forced us to move rooms. This initial problem added unwanted stress.

the location proved acceptable for accessing nearby attractions.
My room, a 'standard twin room', was hardly spacious. I could almost touch both walls simultaneously. the television remote was missing. The front desk claimed they had no replacements. parking was a nightmare. The hotel seemed utterly clueless about assisting with that.

The hotel is near Queensway station and Bayswater, so transport was simple. Many food options and a grocery store are on the street. The hotel offers a clean room. It was very quiet . The staff were friendly and helpful.
The bathroom felt a little small compared to the rest of the room.
